The “Song of Water” is an interactive sound meditation that explores the beauty in the relationship between vibrations and water. We inquire into the question of how we bring this sacred element into modernity and how do we connect to water with reverence. Indigenous traditions show us that water is a sacred living element that carries the consciousness of life.
Join us for a sharing of knowledge on the sacred qualities of water as we create a sound ritual of water. We will have special guest speaker and ritual facilitator, Felicia Cocotzin Ruiz, also known as ‘Kitchen Curandera’, who is the author of the book Earth Medicines and who practices the art of Curandismo, a traditional healing practice from Mexico.
Creating a live water altar and with the harp and other instruments we will offer sound, song, voice, poems, and herbs in an interactive water blessing. All guests will receive a small bottle of this sound infused water to take home.
